IT documentation software

IT documentation software with a secure password vault

Keystone is the IT documentation platform we run our own clients on. Devices, passwords, contacts, domains, licenses and step-by-step runbooks for every location live in one searchable place, and you get a warning before a certificate, domain or license expires.

Passwords your team can share safely

An encrypted vault with 2FA codes, where every reveal is recorded in the audit log.

Nothing expires by surprise

Domains, SSL certificates and licenses are tracked, and websites and certificates are monitored.

Procedures anyone can follow

Runbooks and checklists with full revision history, linked to the devices they cover.

FAQ

IT documentation software: common questions

Is Keystone a password manager?

It includes a team password vault, but it is built for IT documentation: passwords sit next to the devices, accounts and procedures they belong to. For staff password managers we also set up and manage business password managers.

Where is the data stored?

On Cloudflare’s network, with vault secrets encrypted at rest and daily backups.

Can we sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google?

Yes, through OpenID Connect, alongside local accounts.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. After setup we email you the one DNS record to add; until then your site works on a free address we provide.

Is it in English and Spanish?

Yes. Visitors switch languages with one click, and you edit both from the same admin.

Are there contracts?

No. Plans are monthly or yearly and you can cancel any time.

What is included in the price?

Hosting on Cloudflare’s global network, SSL, daily backups, security updates and email support. Support plans with faster replies and changes done for you are optional.
